On September 11th  we were attacked by religious fanatics who saw us as the great Satan.  Thousands of Americans died that day simply because they went to work.  They died  at the Pentagon, Twin Towers, in an airplane plunged into the ground, and  even more would die in the future war to stamp out the fanatical zealots who made such a horrendous statement on humanity.


I remember vividly that day and the days which followed where a grieving nation took solace in flying the colors of their nation.  American flags were seen flying everywhere.  On fire engines, tall buildings, schools, businesses, homes, churches, just about anywhere you could place a flag staff the colors were unfurled.  Uniforms had flags sewn on sleeves, everywhere the symbol could be shown or displayed it was done proudly.  Then time slowly dissolved the resolve of this nation (a long with some political correctness) and the grand old flag was not so prominently displayed.


Now I ask where are the flags?  Where is our outrage against the perpetrators who bombed our country and still attempt to do so?  Where is our anger against religious fanatics who destroy religious artifacts simply because they find them undesirable ?  Where is our disgust against an enemy who kills others because their religious beliefs do not follow theirs?  Where do we stand to day when women and children are taken hostage and forced against their will to become believers of fanatical ISLAM?  Where is our anger when captives are beheaded simply to show the world how non human these individuals are?  Why have we set on our couches and watched in disbelief as these atrocities continue? Where is our disgust, our anger, our outrage?


We must speak out and we must be heard around the globe......Enough is enough!!!  No more will we sit ideally by!!  We will demand actions and results.  No matter how strong a religious belief may be it does not out weigh simple basic truths of treating all human life as sacred.  Stand up AMERICA fly your flag again!!!  Let the world know we will be silent no longer!! Demand action by your leaders and if they do not lead replace them with those who will. 


Every American citizen should be ashamed of what our country has become.  Every American citizen should cry out in anger over the disgusting atrocities that are occurring today.  Stand up AMERICA we are the worlds only hope!!!
