The football players of the NFL who choose to kneel during the National Anthem have forgotten or do not care about the numerous lives lost, blood shed, and thousands wounded, who have given them the right to kneel instead of showing their gratitude to those who have sacrificed.  They can say it is their first amendment right and they are correct however what had to happen for them to have this right???

The anthem itself speaks of the battles fought thru out time to give these individuals the right to kneel or stand.  Our National Anthem is not a time to voice individual beliefs or protest what one believes is injustice.  It is disgraceful and upsetting to see highly paid athletes kneel during our National Anthem.  These individuals would not get paid the salaries they make in the USA anywhere else on this planet.  They would not have the life styles they have here anywhere else on this planet.  You want to protest (it is your right) just do it in other ways.  Put money where your belief lies!  March on the capitol.  Vote for the politicians who align with your beliefs.  Voice your outrage in interviews! 

Do not use the National Anthem as your stage.  Shame on all of you for this display!  Patriots you are not.  Time and place does make a difference.  I call on all sports fans to show your disqust  for this display.  No matter how these athletes try and explain they are not disrespecting the flag or those who fought and fight for it today, their actions speak loudly!!!
